January 26, 2024: Vermontville, MI 49096 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Comstock Colts (Kalamazoo, MI) and the host Maple Valley Lions (Vermontville, MI), saw Comstock's basketball squad overcome Maple Valley by a tally of 43-25.
With the victory, Comstock improves its record to 1-8 on the campaign. The Colts host Cassopolis (Cassopolis, MI) to confront the Rangers in a Southwest 10 challenge on Monday, January 29. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Cassopolis won 59-20 in their recent league challenge against Bangor (Bangor, MI)
Next up, the Lions confront the Kellogg Panthers (Delton, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Maple Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 64-19 non-league loss to Galesburg-Augusta (Galesburg, MI).
