January 26, 2024: Romulus, MI Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Summit Academy North (Romulus, MI) and the visiting Detroit Community Hurricanes (Detroit, MI), saw Summit Academy North's basketball squad wallop Detroit Community by a tally of 60-11.
With the victory, Summit Academy North improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The travel to Academy for Business & Tech (Melvindale, MI) to play the Gators in a Freelance challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 1-10. Academy for Business & Tech lost 58-14 in their recent league challenge against Lincoln-King Academy (Detroit, MI)
Next up, the Hurricanes play the Lincoln-King Academy Eagles (Detroit, MI) in a Freelance challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Detroit Community will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record.
