Minnesota High School Basketball - Edina overwhelms Minnetonka
January 26, 2024: Edina, MN 55439 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Edina Hornets (Edina, MN) and the visiting Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN), saw Edina's basketball squad wallop Minnetonka by a tally of 69-26.
With the victory, Edina improves its record to 4-15 on the campaign. The Hornets host Buffalo (Buffalo, MN) to confront the Bison in a AAAA Section 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Bison come into the challenge with a record of 3-15. Buffalo lost 80-43 in their recent league challenge against Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN)
Next up, the Skippers confront the Providence Academy Lions (Plymouth, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Minnetonka will attempt to improve on its 16-1 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 78-46 non-league win over Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN).
