The Moorhead Spuds (Moorhead, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders (St. Cloud, MN), 71-53 in Friday's non-league test.

The Spuds (5-12) will now prepare for their test against Elk River (Elk River, MN). The Elks go into the AAAA Section 8 test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Elk River went down by Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN), 61-55, in a non-league test.
