Kansas High School Basketball - Trinity Academy overwhelms Newton
January 26, 2024: Newton, KS 67114 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Trinity Academy Knights (Wichita, KS) and the host Newton Railroaders (Newton, KS), saw Trinity Academy's basketball squad wallop Newton by a count of 62-26.
With the victory, Trinity Academy upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, KS) to play the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Belle Plaine lost 43-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Chaparral (Anthony, KS)
Next up, the Railroaders play the Dodge City Demons (Dodge City, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Newton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Demons come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 51-33 non-league loss to Shawnee Mission Northwest (Shawnee Mission, KS).
