Georgia High School Basketball - River Ridge holds off St. Francis

January 26, 2024: Alpharetta, GA 30004

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) and the host St. Francis Knights (Alpharetta, GA), saw River Ridge's basketball squad hold off St. Francis by a tally of 59-58.

With the victory, River Ridge improves its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Etowah (Woodstock, GA) to confront the Eagles in a AAAAAA Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 12-9. Etowah lost 58-42 in their recent league challenge against Rome (Rome, GA)

Next up, the Knights confront the King's Ridge Christian Tigers (Alpharetta, GA) in a A D1 Region 6 challenge, on Friday, February 2. St. Francis will attempt to improve on its 15-7 season record.
