The Yorktown Wildcats basketball team scored 29 points and held the visiting Three Rivers Bulldogs to 26 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 10-21 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kenedy for a 2A Region IV District 31 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Yorktown will meet a Lions team coming off a 53-48 league loss to Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX). The Lions record now stands at 16-12.
