Emmaus Hornets (Emmaus, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting William Allen Canaries (Allentown, PA), 44-13 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Emmaus upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to Pocono Mountain East (Swiftwater, PA) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
