Virginia High School Basketball - Indian River tops King's Fork
January 26, 2024: Suffolk, VA 23434 Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA), 65-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Indian River upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Braves host Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 2-14. Great Bridge won 60-53 in their recent non-league bout against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. King's Fork will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 60-53 non-league loss to Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA).
