Michigan High School Basketball - Manistee holds off Pine River Area
January 26, 2024: Leroy, MI 49655 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Manistee Chippewas (Manistee, MI) and the host Pine River Area Bucks (Leroy, MI), saw Manistee's basketball squad hold off Pine River Area by a tally of 46-44.
With the victory, Manistee improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Chippewas travel to Mesick (Mesick, MI) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Bucks confront the Lake City Trojans (Lake City, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Pine River Area will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record.
