Arizona High School Soccer - Kellis nudges Youngker
January 26, 2024: Buckeye, AZ 85326 Kellis Cougars (Glendale, AZ) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Youngker Roughriders (Buckeye, AZ), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars confront the Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ) in a 5A Northwest challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Kellis will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record.
The Roughriders now possess a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glendale for a 5A Central Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 30. Youngker will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Kofa (Yuma, AZ). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-8.
