The Lecanto Panthers (Lecanto, FL) basketball crushed the visiting Trinity Catholic Celtics (Ocala, FL), 83-42 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host River Ridge for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 27. Lecanto will clash with a Royal Knights squad coming off a 97-83 non-league win over Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL). The Royal Knights record now stands at 12-10.

The Celtics (12-10) will now prepare for their test against St. Joseph Academy (St. Augustine, FL). The Flashes come into the 2A District 2 test with a 6-13 record. In their last bout, St. Joseph Academy crushed Trinity Christian Academy (Deltona, FL), 56-53, in a non-league bout.
