Illinois High School Basketball - Calvary Christian Academy overwhelms Blue Ridge
January 27, 2022: Farmer City, IL 61842 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Calvary Christian Academy Knights (Normal, IL) and the host Blue Ridge Knights (Farmer City, IL), saw Calvary Christian Academy's basketball team trounce Blue Ridge by a tally of 61-30.
The Knights now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenview for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 1. Calvary Christian Academy will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 52-42 league win over DeLand-Weldon (DeLand, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-12.
The Knights (3-18) will now prepare for their battle against Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL). The Blue Devils come into the non-league battle with a 1-15 record. In their last battle, Villa Grove was overwhelmed by Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] (Kansas, IL), 42-36, in a non-league battle.
