Texas High School Basketball - Chisholm Trail Academy tops Westlake Academy
January 27, 2022: Keene, TX 76059 Chisholm Trail Academy Blazers (Keene, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Westlake Academy Blacksmiths (Westlake, TX), 62-53 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Chisholm Trail Academy upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Blazers travel to Wylie Prep Academy (Wylie, TX) to play the Patriots in a TCAF Division 1 District 2 bout on Friday, February 4. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 10-9. Wylie Prep Academy lost 79-29 in their recent league bout against Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX)
Next up, the Blacksmiths play the Andrews Academy (Berrien, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 27. Westlake Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record. The come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 52-49 non-league loss to Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy (Atlanta, GA).
