January 27, 2022: Holmdel, NJ 07733 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ) and the visiting Immaculate Conception Lions (Montclair, NJ), saw St. John-Vianney's basketball squad wallop Immaculate Conception by a tally of 82-53.
With the victory, St. John-Vianney improves its record to 14-0 on the campaign. The Lancers host Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ) to confront the Cougars in a Shore A - Central challenge on Monday, January 31. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Colts Neck won 64-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ)
Next up, the Lions confront the Nutley Maroon Raiders (Nutley, NJ) in a Super Essex - Liberty challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Immaculate Conception will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.
