Maine High School Ice Hockey - Cheverus holds off Falmouth
January 27, 2022: Portland, ME 04103 The Cheverus Stags ice hockey squad scored 5 points and restricted the visiting Falmouth Yachtsmen to 4 in the Stags non-league victory on Thursday.
With the victory, Cheverus moves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Stags travel to Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME) to face the Capers in a Class B South contest on Saturday, January 29. The Capers go into the contest with a record of 6-3. Cape Elizabeth won 6-0 in their recent non-league contest against Portland (Portland, ME)
The Yachtsmen now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lewiston for a Class A contest on Monday, January 31. Falmouth will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 5-2 league win over St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-4.
