Massachusetts High School Basketball - Acton-Boxborough holds off Haverhill
January 27, 2023: Haverhill, MA 01832 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Acton-Boxborough Colonials (Acton, MA) and the host Haverhill Hillies (Haverhill, MA), saw Acton-Boxborough's basketball squad hold off Haverhill by a tally of 50-46.
With the victory, Acton-Boxborough improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Colonials host Newton South (Newton, MA) to confront the Lions in a Dual County - Large challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Newton South won 67-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Southeastern RVT (South Easton, MA)
Next up, the Hillies confront the North Andover Scarlet Knights (North Andover, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Haverhill will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Scarlet Knights come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 63-34 non-league win over Dracut (Dracut, MA).
