Wisconsin High School Basketball - Glenwood City topped by Amery
January 27, 2023: Glenwood City, WI 54013 The Amery Warriors basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Glenwood City Hilltoppers to 53 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Osceola for a Middle Border contest on Tuesday, January 31. Amery will battle a Chieftains team coming off a 53-48 non-league win over Colfax (Colfax, WI). The Chieftains record now stands at 16-0.
The Hilltoppers (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Elmwood/Plum City (Elmwood, WI). The Wolves come into the Dunn-St. Croix contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Elmwood/Plum City dropped by Spring Valley (Spring Valley, WI), 64-38, in a league contest.
