Minnesota High School Basketball - Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa nips Sauk Centre
January 27, 2023: Belgrade, MN 56312 Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars (Belgrade, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sauk Centre Mainstreeters (Sauk Centre, MN), 59-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Jaguars host Holdingford (Holdingford, MN) to play the Huskers in a AA Section 6 bout on Thursday, February 2. The Huskers go into the bout with a record of 4-8.
Next up, the Mainstreeters play the Royalton Royals (Royalton, MN) in a AA Section 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Sauk Centre will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Royals go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 62-27 non-league loss to Eden Valley-Watkins (Eden Valley, MN).
