Michigan High School Basketball - Bentley nips Morrice
January 27, 2023: Burton, MI 48509 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Bentley Bulldogs (Burton, MI) and the visiting Morrice Orioles (Morrice, MI), saw Bentley's basketball squad hold off Morrice by a tally of 49-42.
With the victory, Bentley improves its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Byron (Byron, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Byron lost 55-29 in their recent league challenge against New Lothrop (New Lothrop, MI)
Next up, the Orioles play the Durand Railroaders (Durand, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Morrice will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Railroaders come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 83-40 league win over Lakeville (Otisville, MI).
