Maryland High School Basketball - Bethel ripped by Springdale Prep
January 27, 2023: New Windsor, MD 21776 The Springdale Prep Lions basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Bethel Bruins to 52 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bethel Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Springdale Prep will meet a Eagles team coming off a 71-51 non-league win over National Christian Academy White (Fort Washington, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 9-13.
The Bruins (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Denbigh (Newport News, VA). The Patriots enter the Peninsula contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Denbigh triumphed over Warwick (Newport News, VA), 47-42, in a league contest.
