The Bishop Miege Stags basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Blue Valley North Mustangs to 56 in the Stags non-league victory on Friday.

The Stags now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blue Valley Northwest for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7.

The Mustangs (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Valley West (Stilwell, KS). The Jaguars come into the Eastern Kansas contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Blue Valley West edged Olathe North (Olathe, KS), 55-39, in a non-league contest.
