Kentucky High School Basketball - Waggener ripped by Bullitt East
January 27, 2023: Mt. Washington, KY 40047 The Bullitt East Chargers basketball team scored 88 points and held the visiting Waggener Wildcats to 58 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Chargers now sport a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moore for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Bullitt East will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 70-62 non-league loss to St. Xavier (Louisville, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-8.
The Wildcats (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Highlands Latin (Louisville, KY). The Highlanders enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Highlands Latin triumphed over Louisville Saints HomeSchool (Louisville, KY), 72-52, in a non-league contest.
