Connecticut High School Basketball - Bunnell holds off Weston
January 27, 2023: Stratford, CT 06614 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bunnell Bulldogs (Stratford, CT) and the visiting Weston Trojans (Weston, CT), saw Bunnell's basketball squad hold off Weston by a tally of 50-44.
With the victory, Bunnell improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Masuk (Monroe, CT) to confront the Panthers in a Southwest challenge on Monday, January 30. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Masuk lost 51-45 in their recent league challenge against New Milford (New Milford, CT)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT) in a Southwest challenge, on Monday, January 30. Weston will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 69-56 league loss to Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT).
