The Cuero Gobblers basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Shiner Comanches to 45 in the Gobblers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Gobblers now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Vernia for a 4A Region IV District 28 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Cuero will battle a Bears team coming off a 82-50 league win over San Antonio Memorial (San Antonio, TX). The Bears record now stands at 22-8.
