South Dakota High School Basketball - Watertown crushes Douglas
January 27, 2023: Watertown, SD 57201 Watertown Arrows (Watertown, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD), 58-32 in a league bout.
With the win, Watertown upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Arrows travel to Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD) to clash with the Patriots in a AA challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 11-1. Lincoln won 80-68 in their recent league challenge against Washington (Sioux Falls, SD)
Next up, the Patriots confront the Yankton Bucks/Gazelles (Yankton, SD) in a AA challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Douglas will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Bucks/Gazelles come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 58-54 league loss to Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD).
