Michigan High School Basketball - Ewen-Trout Creek knocked off by Stephenson
January 27, 2023: Stephenson, MI 49887 The Stephenson Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Ewen-Trout Creek Panthers to 43 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forest Park for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Stephenson will battle a Trojans team coming off a 76-50 league win over Carney-Nadeau (Carney, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 5-4.
The Panthers (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Jeffers (Painesdale, MI). The Jets enter the non-league contest with a 13-0 record. In their last contest, Jeffers ran past Wakefield (Wakefield, MI), 94-54, in a non-league contest.
