Illinois High School Basketball - Macomb crushes Havana
January 27, 2023: Havana, IL 62644 Macomb Bombers (Macomb, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Havana Ducks (Havana, IL), 59-24 in a league bout.
With the win, Macomb upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Bombers travel to Hamilton/Warsaw (Hamilton, IL) to clash with the Titans in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 18-6. Hamilton/Warsaw lost 61-48 in their recent non-league bout against Camp Point Central (Camp Point, IL)
Next up, the Ducks clash with the Peoria Heights Patriots (Peoria Heights, IL) in a Prairieland bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Havana will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 8-14 record after their 67-45 league loss to Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL).
