January 27, 2023: New Castle, KY 40050 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Henry County Wildcats (New Castle, KY) and the visiting Model Patriots (Richmond, KY), saw Henry County's basketball squad overcome Model by a tally of 54-43.
With the victory, Henry County improves its record to 2-17 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Eminence (Eminence, KY) to battle the Warriors in a District 31 battle on Tuesday, January 31. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 6-6. Eminence won 59-33 in their recent non-league battle against Eminence (Eminence, IN)
The Patriots (8-12) will now prepare for their battle against Burgin (Burgin, KY). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 2-13 record. In their last battle, Burgin dropped by East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY), 71-63, in a league battle.
