Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Shelbyville Golden Bears (Shelbyville, IN) and the host Indian Creek Braves (Trafalgar, IN), saw Shelbyville's basketball squad knock off Indian Creek by a count of 64-56.

With the victory, Shelbyville upgrades its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Golden Bears travel to Edinburgh (Edinburgh, IN) to play the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 11-5.

Next up, the Braves play the Whiteland Warriors (Whiteland, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Indian Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 58-53 league loss to Mooresville (Mooresville, IN).
