Washington High School Basketball - Monroe fells Shorewood
January 27, 2023: Monroe, WA 98272 Monroe Bearcats (Monroe, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Shorewood Stormrays (Shoreline, WA), 61-47 in a league bout.
With the win, Monroe upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Everett (Everett, WA) to play the Seagulls in a 2A/3A Wesco bout on Monday, January 30. The Seagulls go into the bout with a record of 11-7. Everett lost 78-42 in their recent league bout against Arlington (Arlington, WA)
Next up, the Stormrays play the Shorecrest Scots (Seattle, WA) in a 2A/3A Wesco bout, on Saturday, January 28. Shorewood will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Scots go into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 66-29 league win over Cascade (Everett, WA).
