The Akron Rams basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Caliche Buffaloes to 42 in the Rams league triumph on Friday.

The Rams now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Simla for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Akron will battle a Cubs team coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Limon (Limon, CO). The Cubs record now stands at 5-6.

The Buffaloes (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Haxtun (Haxtun, CO). The Fightin' Bulldogs enter the 3A/2A Lower Platte contest with a 6-8 record.
