Washington, DC High School Basketball - Banneker holds off Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering
January 27, 2023: Washington, DC 20001 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Banneker Bulldogs (Washington, DC) and the visiting Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering Panthers (Washington, DC), saw Banneker's basketball squad hold off Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering by a tally of 2-0.
With the victory, Banneker improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Roosevelt (Washington, DC) to confront the Roughriders in a DCSAA challenge on Wednesday, February 1. The Roughriders come into the challenge with a record of 7-7.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Bell Griffins (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA challenge, on Monday, January 30. Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Griffins come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 61-21 league loss to McKinley Tech (Washington, DC).
