South Dakota High School Basketball - Castlewood crushes Iroquois/Lake Preston
January 27, 2023: Castlewood, SD 57223 Castlewood Warriors (Castlewood, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD), 56-34 in a league bout.
With the win, Castlewood upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to DeSmet (DeSmet, SD) to clash with the Bulldogs in a B Region 2 bout on Monday, January 30. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-7. DeSmet lost 53-40 in their recent non-league bout against Colman-Egan (Colman, SD)
Next up, the clash with the James Valley Christian Vikings (Huron, SD) in a B Region 2 bout, on Saturday, January 28. Iroquois/Lake Preston will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 35-28 non-league win over Miller (Miller, SD).
