Oregon High School Basketball - Coquille overwhelms St. Mary's
January 27, 2023: Coquille, OR 97423 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Coquille Red Devils (Coquille, OR) and the visiting St. Mary's Crusaders (Medford, OR), saw Coquille's basketball squad wallop St. Mary's by a count of 55-24.
With the victory, Coquille upgrades its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to North Valley (Grants Pass, OR) to play the Knights in a 3A Far West challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 4-14. North Valley lost 60-42 in their recent league challenge against South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR)
Next up, the Crusaders play the Glide Wildcats (Glide, OR) in a 3A Far West challenge, on Saturday, January 28. St. Mary's will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 60-29 league loss to Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR).
