Delaware High School Basketball - Delmarva Christian crushes Delmar
January 27, 2023: Georgetown, DE 19947 Delmarva Christian Royals (Georgetown, DE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Delmar Wildcats (Delmar, DE), 62-19 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Delmarva Christian upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Royals host Worcester Prep (Berlin, MD) to play the Mallards in a Eastern Shore bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Mallards go into the bout with a record of 2-3.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Sussex Academy Seahawks (Georgetown, DE) in a Henlopen - Southern bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Delmar will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Seahawks go into the bout with a 0-10 record after their 49-23 non-league loss to Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE).
