Des Moines HomeSchool Warriors Warriors (Des Moines, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting First Baptist Crusaders (Rosemount, MN), 28-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Des Moines HomeSchool Warriors upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season.

Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Shawnee Mission Christian Mustangs (Shawnee Mission, KS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. First Baptist will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 41-25 league win over Blue Ridge Christian (Kansas City, MO).
