East Central Eagles (Sandstone, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels (Moose Lake, MN), 45-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Central upgrades its record to 5-12 on the season. The Eagles travel to Pine City (Pine City, MN) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 10-5.

Next up, the Rebels play the Mora Mustangs (Mora, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Moose Lake/Willow River will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record.
