Louisiana High School Basketball - Gibsland-Coleman overwhelms Family Community Christian
January 27, 2023: Gibsland, LA 71028 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Gibsland-Coleman Bulldogs (Gibsland, LA) and the visiting Family Community Christian (Winnsboro, LA), saw Gibsland-Coleman's basketball squad wallop Family Community Christian by a tally of 57-27.
With the victory, Gibsland-Coleman improves its record to 25-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Rosepine (Rosepine, LA) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 22-6. Rosepine won 57-40 in their recent league challenge against Glenmora (Glenmora, LA)
Next up, the play the Kilbourne Hawks (Kilbourne, LA) in a C District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Family Community Christian will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 4-19 record after their 31-22 non-league win over Downsville (Downsville, LA).
