New York High School Basketball - Sullivan West nipped by Monticello
January 27, 2023: Lake Huntington, NY 12752 The Monticello Panthers tipped the host Sullivan West Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 41-34 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County III game, on Monday, January 30. Monticello will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The Dragons enter the game with a 5-7 record after their 43-37 non-league win over Marlboro Central (Marlboro, NY).
With the defeat, Sullivan West moves to 4-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Fallsburg (Fallsburg, NY) to face the Comets in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 1. The Comets enter the game with a record of 3-6.
