Oregon High School Basketball - North Valley succumbs to South Umpqua
January 27, 2023: Grants Pass, OR 97526 The South Umpqua Lancers topped the host North Valley Knights basketball team by a final score of 60-42 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Lancers face the Rogue River Chieftains (Rogue River, OR) in a 3A Far West game, on Saturday, January 28. South Umpqua will attempt to move on its 7-13 season record. The Chieftains enter the game with a 1-16 record after their 54-18 league loss to Douglas (Winston, OR).
With the defeat, North Valley moves to 4-14 on the year. The Knights host Coquille (Coquille, OR) to face the Red Devils in a 3A Far West game on Saturday, January 28. The Red Devils enter the game with a record of 14-6. Coquille won 55-24 in their recent league game against St. Mary's (Medford, OR)
