Louisiana High School Basketball - Sterlington topples Richwood
January 27, 2023: Sterlington, LA 71280 In Friday's league challenge, the Sterlington Panthers (Sterlington, LA) basketball squad overcame the visiting Richwood Rams (Monroe, LA), by a count of 53-36.
With the victory, Sterlington upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Bastrop (Bastrop, LA) to play the Rams in a 3A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 20-6. Bastrop won 56-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Rayville (Rayville, LA)
Next up, the Rams play the Carroll Bulldogs (Monroe, LA) in a 3A District 1 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Richwood will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record.
