New York High School Basketball - Cornwall Central overwhelms Marlboro Central
January 27, 2023: New Windsor, NY 12553 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY) and the visiting Marlboro Central Dukes (Marlboro, NY), saw Cornwall Central's basketball squad wallop Marlboro Central by a count of 41-19.
With the victory, Cornwall Central upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Colonie Central (Albany, NY) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Colonie Central won 57-33 in their recent league challenge against Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY)
Next up, the Dukes play the Onteora Eagles (Boiceville, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 30. Marlboro Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 31-27 non-league loss to Highland (Highland, NY).
