North Carolina High School Basketball - New Manna Christian tops Calvary Christian
January 27, 2023: King, NC 27021 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the New Manna Christian Wind (Marion, NC) and the host Calvary Christian Cougar (King, NC), saw New Manna Christian's basketball squad knock off Calvary Christian by a count of 45-25.
With the victory, New Manna Christian upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Wind travel to Heritage Christian (Hudson, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 12-2. Heritage Christian won 27-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Christian Family Academy (Hickory, NC)
Next up, the Cougar play the Fellowship Baptist Academy Eagles (Durham, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Calvary Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 35-18 league win over Fayetteville Street Christian (Asheboro, NC).
