Maryland High School Basketball - Great Mills crushes La Plata
January 27, 2023: La Plata, MD 20646 Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD), 56-30 in a league bout.
With the victory, Great Mills upgrades its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Hornets host Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD) to play the Hurricanes in a bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Hurricanes come into the bout with a record of 5-4.
Next up, the Warriors play the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) in a bout, on Monday, February 6. La Plata will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
