Illinois High School Basketball - Elk Grove knocked off by Addison Trail
January 27, 2024: Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 The Addison Trail Blazers basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Elk Grove Grenadiers to 50 in the Blazers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Blazers now sport a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hinsdale South for a West Suburban - Gold contest on Tuesday, January 30. Addison Trail will battle a Hornets team coming off a 76-67 league loss to Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 10-14.
The Grenadiers (3-17) will now prepare for their contest against Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL). The Knights enter the Mid-Suburban - East contest with a 18-6 record. In their last contest, Prospect ran past Niles West (Skokie, IL), 74-44, in a non-league contest.
