Michigan High School Basketball - Beecher ripped by River Rouge
January 27, 2024: River Rouge, MI 48218 The River Rouge Panthers basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Beecher Buccaneers to 39 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame Prep for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. River Rouge will meet a Fighting Irish team coming off a 78-59 non-league loss to Troy (Troy, MI). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 10-5.
The Buccaneers (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Genesee Christian (Burton, MI). The Soldiers enter the Genesee Area - Red contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Genesee Christian triumphed over Arbor Prep (Ypsilanti, MI), 58-45, in a non-league contest.
