January 27, 2024: Belvidere, IL 61008 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Belvidere North Blue Thunder (Belvidere, IL) and the visiting Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL), saw Belvidere North's basketball squad wallop Woodstock by a tally of 63-39.
With the victory, Belvidere North improves its record to 18-7 on the campaign. The Blue Thunder travel to Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL) to confront the Knights in a Northern Illinois 10 challenge on Wednesday, January 31. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 13-10. Rockford Auburn won 72-51 in their recent league challenge against Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL)
Next up, the Blue Streaks confront the Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL) in a Kishwaukee River challenge, on Monday, January 29. Woodstock will attempt to improve on its 13-10 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 2-16 record after their 52-27 non-league win over Alden-Hebron (Hebron, IL).
