Ohio High School Basketball - Bishop Watterson can't hold off Big Walnut
January 27, 2024: Sunbury, OH 43074 The Big Walnut Golden Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Bishop Watterson Eagles to 46 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marion Harding for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. Big Walnut will battle a Presidents team coming off a 75-65 league loss to River Valley (Caledonia, OH). The Presidents record now stands at 12-4.
The Eagles (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfield Union (Lancaster, OH). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 9-6 record.
