January 27, 2024: Biloxi, MS 39532 Laurel Golden Tornadoes (Laurel, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Biloxi Indians (Biloxi, MS), 53-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Laurel upgrades its record to 15-10 on the season. The Golden Tornadoes host Heidelberg (Heidelberg, MS) to play the Oilers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Oilers go into the bout with a record of 5-15.
Next up, the Indians play the Ocean Springs Greyhounds (Ocean Springs, MS) in a 7A Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Biloxi will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 15-5 record after their 55-42 league loss to Harrison Central (Gulfport, MS).
